Book Review: Lavish Grace by Kathy Howard

Amazon.com

Subtitle: Poured Out, Poured Through, and Overflowing.

Kathy Howard has piqued my interest in grace. Several years ago, I chose that word for my ‘word of the year’, a word to study and to focus on. Since I did this Bible study, I will be more aware of the grace of God in my surroundings and in my life.

Mrs. Howard gives her readers an extensive study to learn about lavish grace. Her Bible study consists of nine weekly lessons, with four sections per lesson. These nine lessons fall into three sections-Graces Poured Out, Grace Poured Through, and Grace Overflowing. She combines scripture passages with stories illustrating grace in each of these nine weekly studies. At the beginning of each lesson, she includes a ‘Grace Note’, giving us reminders of how grace can work in our lives.

I look forward to doing more of Mrs. Howard’s Bible studies. I recommend this study to any woman who wants to learn of God’s grace in the life of Paul and in our lives today.

I received this book free from New Hope Publishers through the Book Club Network. All they asked of me was that I give an honest, unbiased review.
