Every Tongue Confess

“. . . and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of the Father.”
Philippians 2:11 (NIV)

“. . . and every tongue confess. . .”
The word 'every' means each one of a group. Have you ever been to a large church conference where they had a time of worship during one of the sessions? I sat in an auditorium on the campus of our local university-a Christian institution. The singing was wonderful; I felt as if I was surrounded by angels. When each tongue confesses Jesus as Lord my experience will become like a grain of sand in comparison. Each and every person created by God will join together to proclaim the news. The people will declare their message. Their words will fill the air and no one else will be able to deny what the voices say. This will truly be likened to the sound of an angelic choir.
“. . . Jesus Christ is Lord. . .”
No one else has died for our sins. God planned that His Son would come to earth and live among us (John 1:14.) While Jesus was here on earth, He taught about the Father and how we should live. Whenever we read The Word of God, we should always give thanks for His Son and all He did for us. The most beautiful words any man or woman can say. People who have learned this fact will be happy to be able to voice these blessed words. They will come easy to those who have had a long vital relationship. Those who have had a shallow relationship might find these words hard to say..

The most beautiful words any man or woman can say. People who have learned this fact will be happy to be able to voice these blessed words. They will come easy to those who have had a long vital relationship. Those who have had a shallow relationship might find these words hard to say. We should always give praise to God for all He has done for us. As we continue through this Lenten season, we should be mindful of the grace God has for each of us.
