Living so that

Living So That

(Making Faith-filled Choices in the midst of a messy life)
 By Wndy Blight
Mrs. Blight delves into scriptures that highlight the reasons for God’s deeds, Jesus’s sojourn on earth, our prayers, our trials, and our witness.

This Bible study is extensive and life-changing. As I read this book, I had my Bible right beside me, reading each selected passage she used. I thoroughly enjoyed this study.

Mrs. Blight explores five areas of Christian belief by devoting one chapter to each concept. Inside each chapter, she breaks the topic into five smaller units of study.

She shares her heartbreaking personal crisis that happened shortly after she graduated from college. She tells the reader how she came to give all her anger and hurt over to God and how God has used her to minister to other women.

I would recommend this Bible Study to any woman who truly wants to grow in the Lord. However, my concern is that the price may be out of range of a lot of women who could benefit from this study.

I received a copy of this book from Booklook Bloggers, a program of Harper Collins Christian Publishing Inc. via Thomas Nelson Publishing. All they asked me to do was read it and give an unbiased review.

    1. Mary: This is a study that is very well done. We all need to learn how to make faith-filled choices about events in our lives.

  2. This sounds like a great study--thanks for the review. I do share your concern about pricing, Ceclia. We once attended a church that had a ladies bible study, but the books were terribly high priced, so I could not attend. I felt left out.

    1. Jeanette: I checked out Amazon. They have a little bit lower price on the book. I also had to not attend a book review group at the last church I was in because of the fact I was concerned about the price of the books. Each of these studies were very well done. Thank you for your comments.

    1. Rhonda: This book is one of four that just came out in a series called Inscribed. The series is based on Proverbs 3:3. There will be three more in this series coming out in the fall.
