Some Joyful Thoughts to End this Month
I sometimes have hymns that play over and over in my mind. This is one of the ones I have had lately.
Freely Freely
One of my favorite hymns
Because He Lives
And all time favorite of mine
The Old Rugged Cross
I love these words.
Just a Closer Walk with Thee
I pray you enjoyed these gospel hymns. I will begin a new series on May 2, 2016.

ReplyDeleteSusan: I have several hymns I like. The two you named are also favorites. Blessings to you and yours.
DeleteGreat list Cecelia, I absolutely love the old rugged cross!
ReplyDeleteAt our church we sing the hymns of the church and the gospel songs, and the praise choruses. The pastor describes our services as "blended." My son used to say, he wanted to hear "The Old Rugged Cross" every Sunday.
DeleteHi Cecelia! I was not familiar with Freely, Freely, so I clicked on your link to listen to it. It's really lovely, and who can have a problem with it's message. As God has given, so we should give. A wonderful message for my Sunday afternoon!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Ceil
