Book Review: Prayer Starters

Christian Books.com

Talking with God About Hard Times

by Suzanne Eller

A Very Special Work

Suzanne Eller has created a very special work in this book. She has brought together 90 conditions that a Christian believer may face and helps us by sharing thoughts to guide us through prayers for those difficult times in life. These 90 prayer starters divided into three parts: Trusting God in Hard Times, Growing in Hard Places, and Freedom in Hard Places.

Bonus Features”

She includes 12 “bonus” features. These are usually quotes from another author, insights into her life, special scripture readings and thought, or thoughts from our study we may revisit.

Why I like this book

This book has helped me realize that my worrying over an issue that seems to affect my life interferes with my relationship with God. I would recommend this book to anyone who believes they have hit a plateau in their prayer life.

I understand that the release date for Prayer Starters is October 28, 2022

I received this book, free of charge from Bethany House, division of Baker Publishing Group. All they asked of me was that I give an unbiased review.
