WORSHIP SONGS

VICTORY IN JESUS

An old hymn with a different voice.

A new song. Our praise band played and sang it.

Jesus Strong and Kind

This is one I really liked.

We sang these songs on the past two Sundays. I thought you would like to hear them.

  1. These were all wonderful, Cecelia, but I liked the last one the best, too. We love contemporary Christian music and Danny lead that worship service for years in our former church. In our new, smaller church, we been so blessed to get to contribute to the worship service at least twice a month and sometimes more. It has been such a blessing for both of us. Thanks for sharing these songs today. God bless!

    1. I always liked Victory In Jesus. Our former pastor had a memory of an older woman who waved a hankie during the chorus. We were at a revival he preached several years ago and he announced we were going to sing it. I was sitting where he could see me. I reached into my purse and pulled out my hankie. Several of our ladies from our church were there and we all waved our hankies.

  2. Wonderful songs, but Victory in Jesus will always be a favorite of mine. I used to sing it with my Dad and my sister and my hubby and her hubby when we'd go visit at Mom and Dad's church. Precious memories.

    1. Pam: We all liked singing Victory in Jesus this past Sunday. A few of us raised hands. I waved a tissue. One of the women on the platform waved her arm. It was wonderful to hear and sing a long-time favorite hymn.
