His Glory

“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing
to the glory that will be revealed to us.”
Romans 8:18

Our lives are not always what we would like–we have sickness, family members become ill, our grown children, for whatever reason, return home. Friends have serious trials. Those who are senior citizens realize the fallacy of the term ‘golden years.’ Some grandparents take on the responsibility of raising grandchildren.

But, as we read our Bibles,we hear from Jesus–“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33) Paul also encourages us when he writes. “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing to the glory that will be revealed to us. (Romans 8:18)

God's glory revealed to us–indescribable, unfathomable, greater than anything we have seen. Think of the most beautiful, serene setting we could ever see. That picture pales in comparison to the glory God has in store for us when we go to meet Him.

  2. Yes, I love to think of the glory of being in Jesus' presence, where all pain will be erased forever. Thanks for reminding us!
