Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all. Chronicles 29:11 (ESV)
We certainly owe a lot to our Lord God. He possesses all power; He is victorious, He created all of heaven and all of earth. He is the owner of all the lands of our earth. We are to lift Him up in worship and give Him praise.
In order to give praise and thank Him for what he allows us to possess, we have to spend time with Him on at least a daily basis.
Each of us should find ways to praise and thank Him for the everyday things we have taken for granted—being able to put our feet on the floor, our ability to see, our ability to hear, central heat, a solid roof over our heads, good transportation, indoor plumbing, special friendships, and anything else we may have thought we were entitled to.
