Book Review: A Defense of Honor: Haven Manor 1

By Kristi Ann HunterA Defense of Honor (Haven Manor)

After Kathryn Fitz Gilbert chose to leave the London society because of a rumor about her, she became ‘Kit’ and chose to spend twelve years hidden away from people in rural England. Now she has business in London. A chance meeting with a titled man causes her to reflect on her past and wish that things could have been different.d by Ba

Then that man, Graham, Lord Wharton, stumbles onto her new life.  Can Kit forgive herself for the ruined life that she feels responsible for?  And the lives she has tried to save?

Kristi Ann Hunter has created an excellent story of inspiration and romance tied into a Regency genre book. She has described the settings well. The characters come alive as they interact with one another.

I recommend this book to those who enjoy reading historical romance books. A Defense of Honor is the first of a series. I plan to watch for and read the books that follow.

Published by Bethany House, A Defense of Honor is available in paperback and e-book at the following outlets. Some of these outlets also have it in hardcover,
