This is a hymn that came to my mind this week. I became acquainted with it back in 1978. It has helped me through some difficult times. I just wanted to share this with you.
Our son is coming home for a delayed visit. I have to get a few things done before he arrives.
Thanks for sharing this today, Cecelia. Have a great time with your son!

Thank you! I requested the choir director at church have the choir sing it. He has contacted all the musicians for input as to how they should do it. I am touched that they want to do this. I believe it will help the congregation as we walk through this time of uncertainty, Pastor Rick has had a seizure and an additional backset.
DeleteI love that song, and have sung it many times. It is so appropriate to our faith journey! God is always with us in every storm. Hope you have a great visit with your son!!!
ReplyDeletePam: Yes, it is most appropriate for our faith journey. Yes, He is with us and teaches us through each storm. Peace and blessings to you and yours.
DeleteThat song is always appropriate to sing and to hear as life can be hard. I have been singing Leaning on the everlasting arms another good hymn for going through life's storms.
ReplyDeleteTerra: Your hymn is a wonderful one as well. Thank you for your kind words. Peace and blessings to you and yours,
